The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the strait between the bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Parking can be found in either the Northeast or Southeast visitor lots. The Southeast lot is metered with parking for cars, buses, and accessible parking for handicapped visitors.
The Southeast lot features a café, gift shop, gardens, and also scenic vistas.
The Northeast visitor lot is also free of charge (with a 4 hour parking limit).
Restrooms are the only amenity at this visitor’s lot.
